In addition, veneers are also not possible if too much of your tooth or enamel is missing.
Porcelain veneers take two dental visits. At your first visit, Dr. Parsa will remove a thin layer of the enamel from your teeth to make room for the veneer and take an impression (mold) of your teeth. This mold is sent to a professional dental lab where they create a custom-made veneer. Dr. Parsa will make you a temporary veneer until your next visit. At the second visit one week later, Dr. Parsa will remove the temporary veneer and the porcelain veneer is glued to your tooth using composite resin cement.
Dr. Parsa guarantees her porcelain veneers for five years. If your veneer requires replacement due to a mechanical failure or a bubble in the porcelain, Dr. Parsa will stand by her work. This does not include failure due to external trauma or recurrent decay around the work.
Dr. Parsa will take models of your teeth and wax them up, showing you what is possible outside of the mouth – this allows you to have a better visualization and understanding of the end result before you commit to the treatment.
