Access Affordable Dental Care with the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
The CDCP is a federal program that makes dental care more affordable for eligible Canadians by paying a portion of the cost of many oral health care services. At Yankee Valley Dental, we’re pleased to be accepting CDCP payments for those who qualify.
How to Access CDCP Benefits
Think you may be eligible for CDCP benefits? Our team is happy to help you confirm your eligibility and complete the application process. Once you’re enrolled, we’ll work with you to navigate your coverage, helping you understand everything from covered services and co-pays to making the most of your CDCP benefits.

What Services Are Covered By the CDCP?
The CDCP covers a variety of oral health services. At Yankee Valley Dental, we work directly with the CDCP to provide you with coverage for:
- Diagnostic and preventive services: This includes exams, x-rays, and cleaning.
- Basic dental care: This includes restorative dental care, endodontic services such as root canals, and periodontal care, including non-surgical gum disease management.
- Major services: This can include oral surgery, dentures and denture repairs, and crowns.
- Anesthesia and sedation: When necessary, the CDCP can provide coverage for minimal, moderate, and deep sedation, as well as general anesthesia.
In some cases, treatments may require preauthorization before coverage can be provided. For more information about service coverage, check the CDCP Dental Benefits Guide.
